Fab Automation Engineer- Tainan

Fab Automation Engineer will support the integration of our semiconductor equipment into highly automated fab environments, will work closely with internal Division Engineer teams, software teams, and customer automation groups to ensure seamless communication between our tools and fab systems (MES, AMHS, APC, etc.).

Responsibilities: ●Ensure compliance with SEMI standards such as SECS/GEM (E30), GEM300 (E84, E87, E90), and EDA (Interface A). ●Collaborate with fab automation teams to define integration requirements and validate tool behavior in production environments. ●Configure and test load port automation, wafer mapping, and carrier handling to support automated material movement. ●Support data collection and reporting for process control, traceability, and predictive maintenance. ●Troubleshoot and resolve tool-to-fab communication issues during installation, ramp-up, and production. ●Work with internal software and controls teams to implement automation features and enhancements. ●Provide technical documentation, training, and on-site support to customers and field engineers. ●Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define automation requirements and ensure compliance with fab CIM/automation architecture.
