Manager Projects, Quality & Engineering
※Management •You are responsible for the overall management and smooth operation of all activities related to Projects, Quality Assurance, as well as R&D and Engineering •Provide leadership for building and implementing department strategies and processes through active oversight of functional teams and projects, and mentor functional leaders through teamwork and developing successful solutions •Function as the main point of contact for our colleagues from Supply Chain, Quality and Design Netherlands •Set up and manage team KPI’s •Reporting directly to General Manager
※Projects •Manage the entire project life cycle for introducing new products and optimizing existing products •Strict monitoring of project scope and deliverables according to project business case •Ensure the in-time introduction of new products according to project planning, budget and quality •Organize stage gate reviews to facilitate timely decision making and progress in new product’s development and introduction •Monitor and report on project performance in terms of planning, budget and quality •BOM build up and cost pricing, in cooperation with Procurement Department •Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as engineering, procurement, and logistics, to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the project process
※Quality Assurance •Bridge builder between Quality Netherlands and Quality Taiwan, ensure continuous alignment in quality standards •Enforce a change in quality mindset among all staff, with special attention to production staff, from reactive to preventive quality management •Ensure implementation of quality standards through quality control plan, along with work instructions for production staff and suppliers •Ensure supplier compliance and quality assurance through continuous monitoring and guidance
※R&D and Engineering •Bridge builder between Design in the Netherlands and R&D and Engineering in Taiwan, ensuring seamless design & engineering development of new products •Ensure design development according to strict customer requirements, considering alternative production methods to optimize producibility •Ensure development of production drawings for all new products and related production steps, according to frozen 3D models •Ensure design team OCM is fully informed and aware of production methods and related factors (technical feasibility, costing, producibility), ensuring fit-for-purpose design meeting product’s business case
