Global Sourcing Manager, Package & Electrics Mechanical components

Package & Components Supplier Management & Strategy: Manage Package and Electrics Mechanical components suppliers and develop long-term supplier strategies in alignment with company goals.

Supplier Strategy Development: Support GSM and Sourcing Leads in developing and executing comprehensive supplier strategies.

Cost Negotiation & Optimization: Cost negotiations for Year-over-Year (YoY) savings & Excess & Obsolete (E&O) inventory, spot buys, expediting charges, and quality claims.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with suppliers and internal partners to manage key Logitech components.

NPI Support: Assist Sourcing Leads and Business Groups (BGs) in NPI activities including design developments, Request for Quotation (RFQ), cost Bill of Materials (BOM) reviews, and Design for Cost (DfC).

RFQ Coordination & Vendor Selection: Manage RFQ processes across all candidates, evaluate vendor proposals, and execute final selection.

Contract Management: Review, negotiate, and finalize supplier contracts, including MSAs (Master Service Agreements) or their amendments and SOWs (Statements of Work).

Material Planning: Coordinate with suppliers and planners for material pull-in and push-out decisions. Maintain and communicate component shortage or excess reports with stakeholders.

Project Updates: Deliver regular updates on project status, including high-level/low-level plans and workstream progress.

Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate risks related to supply, cost, quality, and compliance.

Policy Deployment: Ensure suppliers align with company policies and initiatives, including SER (Social & Environmental Responsibility), Sustainability, and Compliance.

Supplier Engagement: Organize and lead regular supplier meetings such as Business Reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR).

Market Intelligence & New Technology Scouting : Monitor market trends (e.g., new Package Material technology, Technical studying, Raw material shortage..etc ) and act immediately to mitigate potential supply impact.

Advance: Priority Setting & Escalation: Set clear job priorities and escalate issues effectively when additional support is required.
