Marketing Calendar Management: .Develop and maintain a comprehensive marketing calendar, ensuring all campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities are scheduled and executed effectively. .Coordinate the launch of new products, such as Cortotic in Q2 2025, and oversee preparations for key marketing events, including the 2024 Domestic Customer Incentive Trip. Strategic Marketing Planning: .Define and propose multi-year marketing development plans, including product cost analyses, lifecycle management, and distribution channel optimization. .Collaborate with the Sales Department to establish pricing strategies for new and existing products, including promotional policies. .Plan and organize annual marketing activities, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and optimizing resource management. Market Intelligence & Competitive Analysis: .Conduct in-depth market research to assess Virbac’s positioning, growth potential, and competitive landscape. .Oversee the design and implementation of market research and technical studies to anticipate customer needs and market trends. .Evaluate licensing and external growth opportunities, providing strategic recommendations to the management team. .Ensure competitive intelligence is up-to-date and relevant, informing product portfolio decisions and market strategies. Product Lifecycle Management & Sales Support: .Oversee product lifecycle management, including planning for new product launches and managing existing products' performance in the market. .Collaborate with the sales team to develop and implement go-to-market strategies, including pricing grids, discount strategies, and promotional offers. .Provide technical service support, including product defect investigations and guidance for veterinarians and pet owners. Marketing Expense Management: .Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring that A&P expenses, trade marketing campaigns, and sponsorships are aligned with business goals. .Monitor and evaluate the return on investment (ROI) of marketing activities, adjusting resource allocation as needed to maximize effectiveness. Team Management & Development: .Define the marketing team structure and organize resources in line with corporate strategy and operational needs. .Set objectives, evaluate performance, and develop the skills of team members through targeted training and mentorship programs. .Foster a motivated and cohesive team environment, ensuring that all members are aligned with project goals and company values. Communication & External Relations: .Develop and maintain a network of internal and external relationships to support marketing initiatives and enhance brand visibility. .Organize and participate in events aimed at promoting products and the Virbac brand, including seminars, conferences, and expert meetings. .Manage relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), coordinating speaker invitations and lecture topics to align with marketing goals. Reporting & Forecasting: .Prepare and present monthly marketing reports, including detailed performance analyses and digital marketing metrics. .Participate in rolling sales forecasts, collaborating with sales, logistics, and marketing teams to ensure accurate projections and inventory management.
