1.Oversee operations of the financial, accounting, and tax matters in Malaysia, set goals and objectives for the function, and design a framework for these to be met. 2.Develop trends and projections for the firm’s finances. 3.Provide financial reports and interpret financial information to managerial staff while recommending further courses of action. 4.Planning, controlling, and tracking financial budgets and monitoring differences between actual expenditures and budgets 5.Analyse costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance compared to the business plans. 6.Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities. 7.Liaise with auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained. 8.Perform all other duties, activities, and responsibilities that the superior may assign whenever necessary from time to time.
