NQ- Global Operations Project Manager

Role Summary: The Operations Project Manager on the Tech Transfer team is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing the operational aspects of the technology transfer, ensuring production readiness, efficiency, and seamless integration into the overseas factory’s manufacturing lines.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Production Readiness:
  • Collaborate with Process Engineering to assess and procure necessary production equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
  • Develop detailed production plans for pilot runs and initial mass production, including capacity planning and line balancing.
  • Ensure raw materials and components are available and managed effectively for trial runs.
  1. Process Implementation:
  • Oversee the physical setup and arrangement of production lines and workstations according to transferred process layouts.
  • Coordinate the training of production operators and supervisors on new processes and equipment.
  • Lead initial production runs (pilot, pre-production) and collect operational data.
  1. Efficiency & Cost Management: -Monitor and optimize production efficiency, cycle times, and labor utilization during TT phases. -Identify potential bottlenecks and implement solutions to ensure smooth production flow. -Track and manage operational costs related to the TT project.

  2. Cross-functional Liaison:

  • Act as the primary operational liaison between the TT team, local production teams, and sending site operations. -Facilitate communication and problem-solving between production, engineering, and quality teams.
  1. Documentation:
  • Ensure all operational documentation (SOPs, work instructions, production logs) are in place, accurate, and aligned with transferred processes.
