Lead Thermal-Mechanical Integration Engineer

The Team and Role: Position at Logitech PWS (Personal Workspace solution) engineering group

The Personal Workspace Solution group from Logitech is committed to helping people create and communicate their passion and work to the world, anytime, anywhere. Putting users front and center, we strive to innovate and elevate their experiences. This is more than computer mice, keyboards, webcams, and presentation remotes – it’s about enabling the future beyond today’s tools in a sustainable way. Everything we do is built on thoughtful design and exceptional user experience, conveyed through great hardware and empowered by software.

As a Lead Thermal-Mechanical Integration Engineer, you will take the lead in defining, designing, and validating thermal systems across our product lines, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and user comfort. Your role will be critical in achieving thermal excellence while supporting and influencing mechanical architecture. Working closely with cross-functional teams including electrical engineering, industrial design, and manufacturing, you will own the thermal strategy and simulation and participate the mechanical design innovation.

You’ll also collaborate with external partners and suppliers to select materials, validate components, and ensure cost-effective manufacturability. Your strong background in thermal simulation, testing, and integration will allow you to influence product architecture and help shape the future of Logitech hardware. You’re passionate about engineering challenges and delivering high-quality, user-centered products that enhance the lives of millions.

Your Contribution: Be Yourself. Be Open. Stay Hungry and Humble. Collaborate. Challenge. Decide and just Do. Share our passion for Equality and the Environment. These are the behaviors and values you’ll need for success at Logitech. In this role you will:

• Lead the development of thermal solutions for electronic products with complex integration requirements. • Own end-to-end thermal design efforts from concept, simulation, and prototyping to validation and production. • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (ME, EE, ID, FW, NPI) to ensure robust thermal-mechanical integration. • Conduct thermal simulations (CFD), testing, and validation using tools like ANSYS. • Analyze thermal system performance and propose design optimizations based on experimental data. • Support mechanical design work including 3D modeling, tolerance analysis, and basic structural components to broaden your engineering influence and career growth. • Contribute to thermal and mechanical architecture strategy for future product roadmap. • Work with external suppliers and partners to evaluate components and materials, and drive manufacturing feasibility. • Communicate with cross-functional engineering teams in a multi-site environment. • Work closely with suppliers, design partners, and factories to meet cost, schedule, and customer experience requirements.
