Lead Mechanical Engineer

The team and Role: The Lead Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the mechanical design and development of products from the product front end through to mass production with a focus on ensuring a superior user experience.Key responsibilities include creating reliable mechanical designs using Pro/E and analysis tools, coaching and mentoring junior team members, and ensuring that product features meet cost, schedule, reliability, regulatory, and safety goals.

Your Contribution:

• Design, analyze, document, and test complex mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Ensure that final designs meet quality, cost, and user experience objectives, including manufacturability and reliability specifications.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and suppliers to optimize designs for mass production. - Resolve mechanical engineering issues and challenges.
• Provide regular coaching and mentoring to junior team members.
• Partner with worldwide functions for seamless product development.
• Launch the development and qualification of plastic tooling and design debugging.
• Contribute to technology roadmap development and platform implementation.
