Hardware Design Engineer (Taichung)
- Responsible for Ethernet communication device designs such as Industrial Ethernet Switch, IoT, RTU, etc by using FPGA main chip.
- Main scope also include FPGA (such as Xilinx and Intel series) board development, and industrial communication product design.
- Daily tasks include circuit design, review, test and debug. Also, work with the firmware engineer to develop hardware testing items for the pre-production phase.
- Create/study specifications, find solutions including select component parts and vendors, schematics drawing, layout check, BOM creation, and debugging and testing of motherboard/add-on card for project needs.
- Collaborate with the embedded firmware engineer to review the circuit diagram and related peripheral chips.
- Assist the firmware engineer in debugging and measuring waveforms during system bring-up.
- Collaborate with ME to design Ethernet communication products.
- Writing and maintaining the hardware specification of the projects, failure analysis report if needed.
- New Technology Study and Introduction
