As a Micron Data Scientist in Smart Manufacturing & AI, you will be responsible for developing methodology, predictive models and software packages/systems to help Micron to enhance tool efficiency and improve yield and quality.
You will adopt strong communication skills communicating across different functional teams (including worldwide fabs and central teams) to understand the requirements and domain knowledge, collaborate with teams to develop and validate methodology/systems, and deliver final E2E solutions to the end users.

Responsibility:
Experience in the areas: statistical modeling, feature extraction and analysis, supervised/unsupervised/semi-supervised learning. Ability to extract data from different databases via SQL and other query languages, applying data cleansing, outlier identification, and missing data techniques. Knowledge on software development skills and processes (design patterns, unit test, CI/CD), proficient on Python programming. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Strong desires to learn machine learning and other advanced analytical methods. Experience on Python statistical / machine learning packages such as statsmodels, scikit-learn, TensorFlow or pytorch. Experience on the Python distributed computing frameworks (ex: pyspark/dask) is a plus. Experience of the semiconductor industry is a plus but not required. Experience of constructing predictive model or virtual metrology in semiconductor industry is a plus. Experience working with time-series data, images, semi-supervised learning, and data with frequently changing distributions is a plus. Published paper on semiconductor conference such as SPIE or machine leaning conference such as CVPR, NIPS, ICML, KDD, and other key conferences is a plus, but this is not a research position. Experience on the web development especially on JavaScript or Angular 8+ is a plus.
