If I apply for the Employment Gold Card from within Taiwan but need to leave during the application process, will it affect my application?

If you have filed a domestic application for the Gold Card, we recommend avoiding travel abroad as much as possible before the Gold Card is issued.If you do need to leave Taiwan during the review process, please cooperate with the reviewing authority’s request to re-enter Taiwan when required.

Once your Gold Card application is approved, you may color print your Resident Authorization Certificate (available under the download section of the Foreign Professionals Online Application Platform ) and present it alongside your passport to enter Taiwan.
